Welcome to the Website of Gower & Llwchwr Estuary Lions Club. The club covers the beautiful Gower Peninsula, Gowerton, Gorseion, Llwchwr, Pontarddulais, Hendy, Pontlliw, Penllergaer, Llangennech, Llanelli and down to Burry Port.

Gower & Llwchwr Estuary Lions Club is the new name for the old Gower & Llwchwr Lions Club, this has come about after the Llanelli Lions Club closed, and the Llanelli area was taken over by our club. The club was formed in 1971 and has supported many local charities over the last thirty seven years. Some of the charities we have supported are St Johns Ambulance, St John Inshore Rescue Boat (now Llwchwr Inshore Rescue Boat), Friends of Gorseinon Hospital, Parkinsons Treatment Centre at Gorseinon Hospital, Penllergaer Special School, Wales Air Ambulance, the Green Light Laser equipment for treating prostate cancer at Morriston Hospital.

One of our well known events in the past which we organised for twelve years was the Gorseinon Fun Run which at it's peak attracted twelve hundred runners.
